To My New Engineering Website…!

In this creation, it is not going to be built like any other that you may have viewed on the internet.

This is going to be my creation and how I develop and build it & put it together is going to very interesting both for you and myself…!

Welcome to Martin’s Engineering website.

I am going to make a wonderful site with a lot of useful engineering content, so without further a due stand back to be amazed.

Many people have asked me to include a post or two about my main topics of interest. This I’ll do but don’t expect to see all items covered at once.

Some of the major topics of interest;

That sparked me into action from the time that I was a young lad.

Aviation;

Small aircraft, helicopters, and fighter aircraft, where you can enjoy and feel the sound & speed of powerful & fast flight. Concord ticked many boxes for me in this area of interesting jet aircraft.

Optics;

Light fragmentation, microscopes, telescopes and their use for looking out into space and how they were used to plot the course of the planets over the centuries. Also in there, I have an interest in the Big Bang and of course the Cosmic Dawn! When the first stars and galaxies burst into existence, bringing light to the cosmos which put an end to the time known, as the dark ages…!

Electronics; 

Computers, programmable controllers and the software scripts use in these devices to control all kinds of machinery.

Engineering; 

Mechanical and civil projects, both the design, build and function, with size not being important other than the larger the better.

Psychology; 

I find this subject fascinating to observe basic human behaviour, how different people apply decision and thinking skills and their interpersonal communications. Here you can see first hand the most significant of all People to People; and their behaviour with the mind games that we all play to survive the best we can, out there in the complex jungle of life!

Well, sometimes we all need a good laugh… 🙂 🙂 🙂

Sailing;

I also enjoy a good sail now and then, this is one of my Key Partners on deck leaving Dun Laoghaire harbour on his yacht in full sail out into the raging Irish sea. There are times when strong winds in this sea can be very challenging for the best of sailors.
